Whether gifting to Cedar Valley Hospice for families served today or for those who need us tomorrow, please know you are making a difference in hundreds of lives. You are honoring the lives of loved ones past, as well as those you know and care for; or perhaps those you do not know, but care for anyway. You are making a tribute – a true celebration of their lives. Thank you.
Recognizing your gift All tribute and donor names are listed in the Cedar Valley Hospice newsletter, The Journey, unless there is a request for anonymity. For certain gifts, lasting tributes can be displayed in the Cedar Valley Hospice Tribute Garden, either on a Memorial Brick or on the Tribute Wall. Please contact Brande Orr, Development Director, for more information at 319-272-2002 or borr@cvhospice.org.
How your gift is used All Cedar Valley Hospice patients receive the same level of care, even if they do not have insurance or if their expenses are not fully reimbursed by Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance. Even as healthcare and medication costs increase, no Cedar Valley Hospice patient will be denied care or services because of their financial situation.
Community support also enables Cedar Valley Hospice to provide palliative care, youth and adult grief support services, and other end-of-life assistance to those in need. Cedar Valley Hospice does not receive reimbursement or payment for these programs. They exist due to grants and contributions received from the community.
