Eucalyptus Tree Volunteers
Volunteers in the Eucalyptus Tree program help children through their unique grieving process, and are essential to the success of this program. Eucalyptus Tree volunteers:
- Help with visits from Katie and Quincy Koala
- Serve as a Grief Mentor
- Help out with peer groups
- Be a support for children in the Hospice Home
Grief Support Volunteers
Sensitive listening is key for volunteers in this group as they lend an open ear to family members who have recently experienced a loss. Volunteers keep in touch with families through phone calls, home visits and attending grief support and social events together.
