Teen Grief Support Session
TUESDAY, APRIL 28 • 5:00 – 6:30 P.M.
Hawkeye Community College, Tama Hall – 1501 E Orange Rd., Waterloo
Teenagers (ages 13+) can join Eucalyptus Tree Coordinator Danejia for a supportive discussion about grief and loss with peers. Parents/guardians who attend may meet with Grief Team Lead Laura to discuss how to support their teens. Open to the first 10 youth to register. To RSVP, call 319.272.2002. Food will be provided, and trained volunteers will supervise younger children.
Grief Social Group

Grief can be heavy to carry. Pull up a chair and join us for a monthly coffee club gathering. This isn’t a support group, but it will be a supportive group as we share a cup and friendship with others who have experienced the death of a loved one. If interested in joining, please RSVP by May 8 by calling Clark, grief counselor, at 319.272.2002.Â
Black Hawk County Relay For Life

Katie Koala will make a special appearance at the Black Hawk County Relay For Life! Stop by between 5-6 p.m. to get a picture with Katie and support the American Cancer Society.Â
Youth Grief Camp

Mark your calendars for the annual Cedar Valley Hospice Youth Grief Camp! Youth ages 5-12 who have experienced the death of a loved one have the opportunity to connect with peers who have also experienced a loss, reminisce about their loved ones and enjoy themed activities.
